Back when we showed you the Air Jordan Retro 6 White/Varsity Red we had mentioned that 2010 was defiantly going to be the year for Air Jordan VI Retro’s. And as we progress through the year things are defiantly looking on the up and up for Air Jordan 6 fans out there.

The Black/Varsity Red model released this past weekend and we have already reported on a few other upcoming AJ VI releases set for this year, such as the White/Varsity Red colorway mentioned above, a White/Black model, a Detroit Pistons version and the Air Jordan 6 “Silver Anniversary Edition”.

Along with those five Jordan Brand also plans to drop the Air Jordan 6 “Los Angeles Lakers”. Bringing the Lakers theme together is a solid black upper constructed from leather and what appears to be nubuck, with yellow and purple contrast stitching seen throughout the upper. Sitting below the mostly dark upper is an icey clear outsole, something which is a must for the Air Jordan 6.
